Now the cat's out of the bag

After a year of intensive work, we are pleased to present the redesigned University Library website: A modern design and clearly structured navigation help you find information faster and reach your destination with just a few clicks. FAQs provide quick answers, and a new layout of the locations makes it easier for you to find your way around.

The URL has also changed along with the layout. You can now access the new University Library website at www.ub.lmu.de.

As with any technical transition, there may be occasional limitations in the first few days after launch. Some technical features may still be optimized to ensure everything runs smoothly. The online catalog (OPAC) and e-media login are operated independently of the website and are not affected by the transition.

We ask for your understanding in the event of any short-term issues—and hope you enjoy exploring the new website!
